Stunning! The interlinear format gives a lay person unprecedented understanding of the Aramaic Scriptures, and Paul Younan deserves major credit for having the courage to show the original text. Between the interlinear and the lexicons available on this website, anyone can check the integrity of the work almost word for word.

In my opinion though, this is the finest translation of the Gospels from the Aramaic available. Almost all other attempts, such as Murdock, Jahn or Etheridge, use later western revised texts. Lamsa, while deriving his work from the correct eastern sources, nevertheless is deeply flawed. The same can be said for Victor Alexander's work also. The fact that now this incredible work is available in published form is an opportunity for unerstanding that should not be missed. I certainly look forward to the remaining volumes with the General and Pauline Epistles with great interest.
